In today’s fast-paced world, it can be difficult to slow down and truly connect with ourselves. Our emotional and behavioral responses may feel confusing, overwhelming, or hard to face alone. You may find yourself overwhelmed by stress, stuck in old patterns, or unsure how to move forward. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, self-doubt, or major life transitions, I’ll offer a warm and open space where you can explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion.
I see therapy as a collaborative process – one where you lead the way, and I walk alongside you with care and intention. Together, we will gently uncover and shift patterns that may be causing you to suffer. We can begin to understand what’s standing between you and a life of greater fulfillment and meaning, and to work toward desired change. Exploring the most challenging areas of our inner world and lived experience can paradoxically offer the potential for transformation, resilience and growth.
When we respond to life with self-compassion and live in alignment with our values, we can experience a deeper sense of peace. Authenticity is a cornerstone of my work, both in how I show up as a therapist and in how I invite you to show up for yourself. One of my hopes for you is to feel more aligned with the person you truly are and want to be.
Q & A
How would you describe your therapy style?
My therapy style is affirming, direct, and open-ended. I show up authentically and invite my clients to do the same. Together, we build a safe, trusting relationship that becomes the foundation for our work. I offer a reflective space where clients can develop deeper self-awareness and begin to explore emotions and patterns with compassion and curiosity.
No matter what challenges or painful emotions arise, we face them together. The security of our relationship allows for deep emotional exploration and lasting transformation.
What types of clients do you work best with?
It takes a lot of courage to develop a new therapeutic relationship. I am grateful for new clients and like to honor the fact that showing up is not always easy. That being said, I work best with clients who are motivated and willing to apply what is gained in therapy outside of the therapeutic space. In therapy, you get out of it what you put into it. As a client, the more honest and vulnerable you are, the deeper the work we can accomplish. We all have rich inner worlds and we can develop language and skills to learn to tap into them.
Are there any particular areas of focus that really excite you?
Therapy is innately a relational art. Client and therapist build a relationship that serves as a manifestation of what other relationships can be. As a people person, I’m especially drawn to helping clients better understand the relationships in their lives. Our families can have predominant effects on our current world views and our emotional and behavioral responses. I particularly enjoy diving into how familial relationships lay the groundwork for how we are showing up in our present relationships. Exploring these foundational patterns can bring meaningful insight and open the door to more intentional, fulfilling connections.
